Bud Cardinal, owner of C& C Construction built his first house while a senior at ASU. Even after he went to work for Mountain Bell, the dream of house building stayed with him and after he was transferred to Tucson, AZ. In 1969, he built another home. From then on he was hooked and in 1972 C&C was born. He has been building houses ever since.

When asked to describe his philosophy, Bud says, "We're a low profile building company and prefer to keep it that way". He continues, "we have a group of sub-contractors that are regulars; some have been with me for twenty-five years. There are no surprises, and together we've honed a really professional product. We know our work; we know each other's work; and we're a great team. We build communities, but I don't think we ever built two homes exactly the same, as everyone wants something done a bit differently. And our team, after all these years, is certainly flexible. Some people call it 'customizing'. We also call it listening and cooperating. We prefer to work on larger lot sizes, mostly half-acre and acre."
